They are stronger, fit better, and are more esthetic than many other all-ceramic restorations. test results indicate that Procera® high flexural strength (687 MPa), combined with color stability and precision of fit, all combine to form one of the most naturally esthetic restorations available. Made from a densely sintered high-purity zirconia core and combined with low fusing porcelain, Procera® achieves an impeccably precise fit. The Procera® Crown Zirconia was introduced in 2001, and in 2004 the Procera® Bridge Zirconia was launched. Zirconia has a flexural strength and fracture toughness almost twice as high as that of alumina, which makes zirconia very resistant to masticatory forces, still with maintained exact precision of fit 41.
