Product Description
IPS Empress® is an all-ceramic, pressed system designed for esthetics and strength, without compromising either. Its unique lucite-reinforced glass ceramic material is pressure injected, which delivers twice the strength of many available all-ceramic systems.

Indications
Prescribe Empress® when esthetics and strength are top priorities for posterior or anterior crowns. However, Empress® can also be used for veneers and esthetic inlays and onlays. Special die materials replicate the shade of the prepared tooth for precise shading and characterization. Excellent marginal integrity and accurate fit can be achieved with the lost-wax casting. Years of clinical tests have proven Empress®' durability and strength. Because it is pressed, an external porcelain layer is not necessary with Empress®.

Contra-Indications

• Bruxism-patients who clench
• Limited To Single Units
• Metallic abutments can influence shade
